Rams News: Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey Selected to 2020 NFL All-Pro First Team

The Rams are set to play the Seattle Seahawks this Saturday in hopes of extending their season on the way to a Lombardi Trophy. A big part of their success this year has been the defense which has arguably been the best in the NFL. While it was a team effort in itself, two Rams have stood out and were recognized for their great seasons.

According to NFL Insider Field Yates, Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey were selected to The Associated Press’ 2020 NFL All-Pro First Team.

Donald who is now a six-time First-Team All-Pro was unanimously selected, along with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, after receiving all 50 votes for his position.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Donald was recognized as he has been a force to be reckoned with for years. This year he finished the season tied for second in sacks (13.5), 45 total tackles, 14 tackles for a loss of yardage, 27 Qb hits, and 4 forced fumbles. It’s been a busy year for the 29-ear old defensive tackle who continues to find ways to produce even while being double or triple-teamed.

The Rams will hope to see more of this kind of production on Saturday against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks.
