Rams News: LA to Hold Virtual Tailgate During Training Camp

In light of the recent rolling back of California opening up due to the rise of Coronavirus cases, Rams fans will not get the chance to attend the training camp at UCI this year. However, the Rams have come up with a backup plan to give fans the second-best option possible.

The team announced Thursday afternoon via Twitter that it’s inviting the Ramily to register for the team’s virtual tailgate on August 9. The virtual tailgate will be hosted by the duo of Rams NFL reporter Sarina Morales and Rams Legend Torry Holt. The tailgate will feature interviews from head coach Sean McVay, GM Les Snead, Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff, as well as appearances by current Rams players. Fans in will also get a chance to win a gift card to the Rams Shop.

While such an event isn’t the ideal situation many thought we would have been in just a couple of months ago, it’s the best the team can do right now to involve the fanbase. Fans will have to wait another year to be able to attend another training camp and interact with their favorite players. In terms of fans being able to attend regular-season games, that situation is still up in the air. The Rams recently announced that Sofi Stadium will be at little to no capacity during the 2020 season depending on where the state, as well as LA County, are at in terms of handling the pandemic.
