Rams News: Cooper Kupp Playing In Celebrity Charity Golf Tourney, Auctioning Off Jordan Spikes For A Cause

Add another star next to Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp’s name. Man, this guy loves to give back. Kupp announced yesterday that he will be taking part in the American Century Championship (ACC) golf tournament in Lake Tahoe this weekend to raise money for non-profits giving aid the midst of COVID-19.

Along with the golf event, Kupp will be raising funds for fighting systemic racism and racial inequality. Kupp will be auctioning off five pairs of Nike Jordan Golf shoes with all proceeds going to Advancement Project California.

Kupp will be joining former Rams safety Eric Weddle and a long list of NFL players. Adam Thielen, Case Keenum, Steve Young, Anthony Lynn, Stephy Curry, Dell Curry, Aaron Rodgers, Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald, Kyle Rudolph, and Travis Kelce are among the other NFL players in the field.

Sadly, Tony Romo has won the event in each of the last two years. Sorry, but not a Cowboys fan here (lol).
