Rams News: Cooper Kupp Donates $15K In Nike Gear To Local Students & Families

The heartfelt stories just keep rolling in for the Los Angeles Rams. It’s no secret that the team has stepped up in major times of need for the city of Los Angeles as well as the surrounding areas.

This year alone, several players have pledged help to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rams receiver Cooper Kupp is no different.

Kupp is the latest Ram’s player to help out the community as he donated $15,000 in Nike products to the support at-promise Inglewood Unified School District students and families.

It was reported that Kupp’s donation will come in the form of clothing that is needed for 23 families that were selected by the school district. Kupps made the following statement regarding the donations:

“Our contribution seems insignificant among the hurt and hardship being felt worldwide. The goal for my wife and I is not only to help those in need, but also to thank those who are making unimaginable sacrifices for the good of everyone. It’s times like these where you can be a part of the team and help those that are feeling this the most.”

Ever since the Rams returned to Los Angeles in 2016, they’ve had a great relationship with many school districts. For the past 2 months, the franchise has helped numerous families of students in need during the pandemic.
