Rams News: Eric Dickerson Blasts New Uniforms, Calls Them “Soft”

It looks like Eric Dickerson is at it again Rams fans. After the team released their new uniforms, Dickerson was quick to let the world know, he hates them. To be honest, we saw this coming.

Yesterday, Dickerson was a guest on AM570’s “Lunchtime with Roggin & Rodney” and expressed his feelings on the Rams new digs.

“This is football, This ain’t nothing to do with surfing. This ain’t nothing to do with waves. This is football. This is a man’s sport. And, to me, it just looks soft.

It don’t look football. It don’t look hard.”

Dickerson even commented on the newly redesigned helmets saying they looked “horrible” and “terrible”. To Dickerson, the helmets looked like the Los Angeles Chargers logo and that “it looks like two bananas”. To me, the helmets look pretty good.

The new look includes a blue jersey featuring yellow gradient numbering and interchangeable blue or yellow pants. There is also an off-white jersey and pant combination. The Rams’ new helmet is a metallic chrome blue, with a gradient yellow horn and blue face mask.

The Rams unveiled their new uniforms yesterday, with 3 new color options. A new blue, grey (or “bone” color), as well as yellow will be rocked by Rams players this year. What seemed to take forever for the Rams to release, even their new logos weren’t the most appealing.

Dickerson was one of the first people to bash the new logos when they came out, and he wasn’t alone. Rams fans from all over hated the new logos and expressed their thoughts all over social media. The new uniforms were just about 50/50 in fans’ approval, but not for Dickerson… he’s just not having it.
