LA Roundup: Lebron to Produce Series on Astros Scandal, Trojans Add Another Star Recruit, Kings Make Front Office Changes, and More!
Every Angeleno knows how the Astros cheated the Dodgers out of a World Series title. It still hurts to this day, and there is seemingly no way to get justice for our boys. Lebron, of all people, is looking to change that. He is producing a documentary alongside Quibi based on the allegations and investigation, bringing to light exactly how Houston operated. The world will get an inside look at the cheating Astros, bringing them out of the shadows once again. This series should attract attention from all baseball fans, and we personally can’t wait to let our frustrations out again.
The Summer of Troy continues as USC added yet another top recruit to their commits. While Colin Mobley isn’t the flashiest of their recruits, he presents much-needed depth for the defense. The Trojans have their eyes on much bigger fish as signing season approaches, and they are determined to make a splash.
In Kings news, the team is set to part ways with Assistant GM Mile Futa. His contract is expiring and will not be renewed, according to an announcement made by the team. Futa has been with the team for 13 years and was a part of the rebuilding team. He will be a hot name on the open market as other teams look for scouting directors.
