Lakers News: LA to Hold Ring Ceremony Before Opening Night

With the 2019-2020 season in the past, the time for celebration is over. It is for the Lakers at least as they prepare to kick off another season Tuesday night. However, before they begin another season with championship aspirations, the team will get to be honored with a Ring Night Ceremony just before their season opener abasing the Los Angeles Clippers.

The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 22, at 6:30 PM on TNT.

All players who were apart of last season’s championship team who are still with the organization will receive a ring during the ceremony. It may be a good idea for the Lakers to do so just before the start of the season as it’ll remind them what they’re playing for again this season. It has sure hyped up LeBron James as he took to Twitter to show his excitement.

Hopefully, Lakers fans everywhere can have that same reaction when the season is over. Having the team go back-to-back would be an amazing feat to accomplish. Los Angeles would undoubtedly strengthen its claim as the City of Champions.
