NBA News: ESPN’s Max Kellerman Calls Kawhi Leonard More Clutch than LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, Fans React

During a debate on ESPN’s show First Take about clutch moments as well as ranking NBA players, Max Kellerman shocked the likes of Domonique Foxworth and Jay Williams with his take. He claimed that Kawhi Leonard is more clutch and is able to perform better in those moments than LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.

“Kawhi elevates consistently. The bigger the moment, not only the bigger the game but the bigger the time in the game. Kawhi consistently has gotten to be a better player than he normally is… But who elevates more or under pressure, the answer is Kawhi Leonard.”

Just seeing the reaction Kellerman receives for it is priceless.

While Leonard is one of the best players in the NBA today, Kellerman’s peers didn’t agree nor did fans as many took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the situation.

Some fans did come to Kellerman’s aid to back up such a claim, but overall the majority did not agree with him at all. It’s hard to really get a true accurate of who is more clutch but Kobe is one of the greatest to ever walk the court, while LeBron James has produced in big moments leading his teams to multiple NBA Championships. Kawhi respectively has two titles under his belt and nailed a game-winner in the 2019 NBA Playoffs.
