The Dodgers have reportedly inked Zac Rosscup to a minor league contract. The left-hander was a member of the Dodgers organization as recently as last season.

According to Alex Freedman of the Oklahoma City Dodgers broadcast team, he has been added to the roster at Triple-A.

He has bounced around with the Seattle Mariners and the Toronto Blue Jays this season and has posted a 4.80 ERA and a solid 28.6 K% across 15 innings of work.

With the Dodgers in 2018, Rosscup tossed 11 1/3 innings to the tune of a 4.76 ERA.

For now, he should provide organizational depth as a situational lefty considering Tony Cingrani will be out for the remainder of the 2019 season.

There is no imminent need for Rosscup’s services at the major league level, considering that Julio Urias and Caleb Ferguson/Scott Alexander are soaking up innings as the pen lefties, but Rosscup could eventually make his way to Los Angeles for a second time.
