Dodgers News: 3 Players Already Crack MLB Network’s Top 100 Right Now

Well it would be an understatement to say that the Dodgers had themselves a great offseason. In fact, with the recent re-signing of Justin Turner and acquisition of Trevor Bauer, it could be argued that Los Angeles has won the offseason. They’ve made it known to the Padres that they don’t plan on loosening their grip on the NL West and have their eyes set on repeating as champions.

Andrew Friedman stated that the organization was looking to maintain its supremacy and while they have added pieces to the roster, this team is just oozing with talent. Just take a look at MLB Network’s top 100 players right now and you’ll discover that 3 Dodgers have already made the list that is still ongoing.

Those three players happen to be Will Smith (#50), the newly re-signed Just Turner (#46), and Mad Max Muncy (#45). The Fresh Prince only has 91 games under his belt, but he’s proven that he’s already one of the best offensive catchers around. Los Angeles is JT’s home and his return gives the Dodgers the 6th best third baseman in the league despite being 36 years old. What a journey it’s been for Muncy.  His rise to being the 45th best player in baseball just proves that hard work can change you from a fringe major leaguer into a feared power hitter.

The rest of the top 100 list will be released later this upcoming list and will surely include even more Dodgers.
