Dodgers News: Tommy Lasorda’s Health Improves

Last month, Dodger fans were hit with the unfortunate news that former Dodger skipper Tommy Lasorda was hospitalized in the ICU. The beloved man who led the organization to four NL Pennants, 8 division titles, and 2 World Series. Just a couple of weeks ago, it was announced that he was out of the intensive care unit with his health improving.

As of now the 93-year old is still in the hospital, but there is hope that he may be home in time for Christmas. According to MLB Insider Jon Heyman, December 23 is the day that Lasorda can possibly be discharged from the hospital.

If Lasorda is healthy enough to accomplish that, it would be a great Christmas gift to be reunited with his family. There’s no doubt fans would love to see him back on his feet as well. Lasorda, who’s known for being one tough guy, continues to be just as strong as we all thought. Keep on fighting Tommy!
