Dodgers News: Joc Pederson Drawing Interest From Multiple Teams

We may have very well seen the last of Joctober for the Dodgers. After trying to ship him to the Anaheim Angels before the start of the 2020 season, Pederson found himself on one last ride with the Dodger blue. With so much depth in the outfield and few at-bats to go around, especially with the end of the universal DH in 2021, there’s little hope for a reunion.

According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, and Milwaukee Brewers have shown interest in the free-agent. His market is dependent on when and where fellow outfielder Marcell Ozuna signs.

2020 was a forgettable year for Pederson, heck it was a forgettable year for many players. However, he hit .249 with 36 home runs and 74 RBIs in 2019. Teams will no doubt love to add his left-handed power bat and Postseason experience to their rosters. While the Joctober era is likely done in Los Angeles, it may just be starting to another contending team.
