Lakers News: Could An L.A. Star Be On The Move…Into A New Home?

The current pandemic has pumped the brakes on many lives as of late, but that’s not stopping people from trying to live their best life. It seems as if a Los Angeles Lakers star could be house-hunting to live it up even more.

Rumor has it that Lebron James has been inquiring about a luxurious mansion in the Los Angeles area. The 16,000 square foot mansion which is valued at $52 million sits in Hollywood Hills with a stunning view of Los Angeles and surrounding cities.

One could ask why Lebron is looking for a new home in the first place? He already owns a very luxurious Southern California Brentwood home that he purchased when he became a Laker. Could it be possible that he’s already bored with it or is there another intriguing twist to all this?

Mega Mansions, a real estate group that lists collections of exquisite mansions, recently posted the Hollywood Hills property on their Instagram page. A very nice mansion indeed, but the home is not what stood out the most on the post.

Looking into the comment section of the post, you can see LeBron asking some very forward questions along with a very curious reason into why:

For A Friend? Oddly enough, the home is currently not listed for sale which adds more confusion on why James would look onto it.

Could Lebron REALLY be looking into this home for a friend or even himself? If it is for one of his friends could that possibly be fellow Laker Anthony Davis? Maybe Davis selling his home was just to upgrade into a bigger, nicer one. The drama of this is highly coincidental especially with Davis’ Laker future in question.

AD has only 1 year with L.A. after being traded from the New Orleans Pelicans in June of 2019. He could possibly hit the free-agent market once this season is over. Fans are hoping that Davis will stick around longer and re-sign with the Lakers. Since the pandemic halted the season, many fans feel cheated out of what could have been a possible return trip to the NBA Finals.

Hopefully AD will remain a Laker after all this. Having James ask about the status of the home could be an interesting clue. We’ll get answers soon enough.
