Dodgers Postseason: NLDS Roster Officially Announced

The Dodgers have announced their 25-man NLDS roster as they take on the Washington Nationals at Chavez Ravine on Thursday.

There do not appear to be too many surprises on the roster which also means basically no snubs, either.

We were given some clarity regarding the roster on Tuesday when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told the media that Gavin Lux and Matt Beaty had made the postseason roster. The final few position player spots and the last bullpen spot appeared to be up for grabs prior to September, but we now know who will be filling those gaps.

As expected, the Dodgers will carry 12 pitchers and 13 position players. Here is how the roster shakes out for the NLDS:

Catchers (2):

  • Will Smith
  • Russell Martin

Infielders (8):

  • Max Muncy
  • Justin Turner
  • Corey Seager
  • Gavin Lux
  • David Freese
