Chargers News: Justin Herbert Has One of the NFL’s Highest Selling Jerseys

The Chargers may have a bonafide superstar in the making. Less than a month after being drafted number 6 overall in this year’s NFL draft, Herbert jerseys are a hot commodity.

Justin Herbert certainly has some high expectations to live up to, but it seems that the fans are behind him 100 percent. As CBS Sports broke down resent jersey sale data, Herbert ranked fifth in the league. The only players ahead of him were fellow rookies, Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Burrow, Tom Brady, and Rob Gronkowski. In total jersey sales, Herbert had the 12th highest jersey variant sold (powder blue). That’s a pretty powerful statement so early on in the signal caller’s professional career. And as a new franchise player and with new jerseys for this season, this was an inevitability.

Bolt Nation has its hopes set sky-high for the new face of the franchise. The only question is if he will start week 1 or sit behind Taylor for a while first. They may have to wait a while to see him in action, but the precedent has been set. So much for the Chargers not having many fans, huh?
